ARROW PROJECT TEAM FINISHES
The Arrow Project, a foster care organization from the states presented several hours of information on raising foster children. This information was very valuable to our house parents and even I learned a few things! J The night before they left we had a great game night of spoons in the Big House. It was a lot of fun hanging out with and getting to know them. WGO is partnering with ARROW in order to bring even better rendering of our children here on the Ranch. Please pray as this particular part of the ministry continues to develop.

CRAZY HAIR LEAVES ITS MARK
Well, not too much to say about this except look at the pictures!!! I had a great time being goofy and after the day was over, I completed the task by getting a pretty close shave to my head.

PRAISE BAND PLAYS AT CHAPEL!
After many hours for several weeks, the RANCH PRAISE AND WORSHIP BAND played at our first chapel. We had about 7 people on state, 3 of them being Honduran children. This week, our second performance, showed an increase in Hondurans participating and we expect that to continue to grow over the coming months. Everyone really enjoyed these first moments of our own students leading worship.

I’M KIND OF A PARENT
Well, not really, but for the next six days, Jason, Brett, and I are “supervising” Oscar and Edgar, two of the older ministry kids. Their house parents are on a much needed vacation so these two guys are staying at our house while they are gone. Tonight is their first night here and we broke them in with a nice meal and a soccer tournament on Playstation. We are hoping the next six days go smoothly!!!

PRAY FOR OUR KIDS
It hurts me to have to say that something has happened within a couple of our children’s behavior on the ranch that has and is bringing about a lot of change. Three of our children have been involved in some behavior that is unbecoming of what is expected of them. As a result, our roles on the ranch have been brought to a new level of heightened awareness. I ask for your consistent prayer over the lives of these children as we continue to work through this situation.

SINGLE’S HOUSING CONSTRUCTION
I am amazed at how much work is being done to the new single’s housing. Within the past week or so, all of the trusses have been put up, rooms have been marked off, the porch has been added, trimming and some duct escapes have been added and painted, and inside walls are being smoothed out in preparation for future work.

COMMUNITY
It was so good to be back in the community again this past week. We did the story of Jesus walking on water and shared how Jesus performed miracles while he was on earth. Our number of children is still down, but hopefully with the Honduran schools starting back soon, we will see more of the children return!

ADIOS!
Please go look at pics! There are a few from all of the topics above. Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. God is up to a lot of good things and also bringing us through a lot of tough times with, obviously, a much bigger picture than what we can see. God Bless!
